Without A Map

We had a good discussion of Without A Map (and some other topics, as we usually do!). We speculated about how Meredith made it back to the United States after wandering through the Middle East. While it's impossible to know from the book, we did agree that the scene in which she is given milk by a nursing mother provided the impetus for her to realize she wanted to go home. Any other thoughts or comments?

Book Group Postponed!

Elaine and I decided to postpone book group until next week because of the weather. Can we try again next Thursday evening March 5?

February Meeting

We'll meet at Elaine's Thursday evening to discuss Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult. Elaine will call for attendance.

January meeting

We will meet at Ione's on January 22nd at 7:00 pm. Sharon will lead the discussion of "Last Standing Woman" by Winona LaDuke, one of the nominated titles for Rochester Reads this year.
